Our mission over the past 40 years has been to help improve the nation’s schools by enabling talented Princeton students to enter the field of education as classroom teachers. You will find that while many of our alumni remain in the classroom for their careers, others use teaching as a means to pursue a wide variety of career paths within the field of education. Teaching is challenging and rewarding work that requires intelligence, creativity, and a commitment to help others. We hope that this site will help you in making your decision whether or not to apply to Teacher Prep and take on the challenge of preparing yourself to become a teacher. We invite you to browse through the profiles of these remarkable individuals and ask them anything you would like to know about Teacher Prep at Princeton or about teaching in general. We think that you will be very impressed by both our students and our program, so click here to ask away!
